The original vision for this renovation aimed to tie together the existing Victorian house with an ultra-modern addition. The exterior — including both roof and sidewalls — used the same metal product and we accommodated solar panels on the roof for hot water heat throughout the home.
Clean lines were the main focus of this project, so the roof profile and siding had to line up perfectly. That said, the entire roof was hand framed and cut on-site by our crew. And the ridge beam was so large, that we had to use a crane to lift it in place!
